Yesterday when I took the bike for a test ride I went to see my friends Vivianne and Troy, from there I went to see another friend of mine, Folha who belongs to Carcaras motorcycle club. While we were talking of the trip he suggested me the route through Minas Gerais to Bahia.
Apparently I took his advice and now I'm in Governador Valadares. Crazy enough I ran into another friend here, Colin who was paragliding here. I thought that he had already returned. Weirdest of all is that I will stay in same hotel where he stayed during this week.
The road from Rio to here was very beautiful. I ran 637 kilometers today and with a few stops on the way it took just about 9 hours. As I'm not in a hurry I took my time.
Entao apos uma semana mexendo com minha moto e as minhas coisas consegui finalmente partir. Primeiro passo era do Rio de Janeiro para Governador Valadares.
Ontem quando levei minha moto para um teste fui visitar meus amigos Vivianne e Troy. De la ainda resolvi visitar mais um amigo meu, Folha integrante do motoclube Carcaras. Conversando com ele ele me deu uma ideia de pegar caminho pelo Minas em vez de pelo litoral.
Levei sugestao dele serio e estou no Governador Valadares agora. Para completar essa historia maluca encontrei outro amigo meu aqui, Colin. Ele estava soltando com parapente aqui. Coisa mais maluca era que ele se hospedava no mesmo hotel onde estou agora. Obviamente nem sabia nada disso...
Rota do Rio pra ca esta linda. Andei hoje 637 quilometros e com alguns paradas levou mais ou menos 9 horas. Assim que nao to na pressa levei bastante tempo.
Do diih. Päästiinhän sitä radalle. Kuten jo alkujen alussa totesin reitti voi olla mielenkiintoinen ja sitähän se on jo heti alusta lähtien. Ideanahan oli ampasta pitkin rannikkoa pohjoiseen, mutta juteltuani Rysäkepin kanssa tulin siihen tulokseen että paree ajaa halki Minas Geraiksen. Ja hyvä että näin tein. Reitti oli todella henkeäsalpaava aina ajoittain. Tänne päästyäni törmäsin yhteen brittikaveriin, Coliniin, joka oli täällä itsemurhaa tekemässä tollasella liitovarjolla siinä kuitenkaan onnistumatta. Himmeintä koko hommassa oli se että en tiennyt että juippi oli vielä täällä ja kaikenlisäksi se oli samassa hotellissa missä nyt itse notkun. Maailma on pieni.
Tänään puntariin tuli 637 kilsaa ja aikaa meni noin 9 tuntia muutamien pysähdyksien vuoksi. No minnekäs sitä kiire.

Radalla oli paljon kuppiloita joissa sai syödä niin paljon kuin halus. 10.90 realia grillilihan kanssa ja 8.90 ilman. Juotavat erikseen.

Finally I got to Governador Valadares.
Now the plan is to stay a couple of days here. I always wanted to know this city better. I've been here a few times for work, but I want to get to know the city better. First impression, after a quite a few years, is very good.
Agora vou ficar aqui alguns dias. Sempre quis conhecer essa cidade melhor. Ja estive aqui alguns vezes, mas so por trabalho. Ate agora estou bem satisfeito como as coisas sao aqui. Estou animado de ver o que essa cidade tem para oferecer.
